Alex Labbé debuted his racing career by getting behind the wheel of his first race kart at the age of only 6 years old. In 2000, he was awarded the title of Rookie Junior of the year in the Cadet category. From the Cadet category, he pursued racing in multiple series like Honda Lite, Honda Junior, Honda Heavy, Junior Shifter and Rotax Junior.
At the age of 14, Labbé developed an interest in racing ATVs and attempted his first season. Due to an injury, he put a stop to racing ATVs even though he had made tremendous and rather fast progress.
Back in action in 2008 after recovering from his injuries, Labbé began racing in the Pro Cam stock-car series. He made a remarkable entrance winning the 200 laps at St-Eustache. During his second season, Labbé shifted towards the Super-Truck series. Success was on his side from 2009 to 2011 whilst winning races, taking home titles and receiving prestigious race invitations.
In 2012, Labbé took part in several starts in the NASCAR Canadian Tire series. From that point on, he has been seen driving in multiple series including; ACT, PASS, ACT USA, Super Late Model and again in the NASCAR Canadian Tire series, now known as NASCAR Pinty’s series.
In September 2015, Alex Labbé signed his first contract as a full-time driver with Go Fas Racing, giving him the opportunity to drive the no. 32 Can-Am car in the NASCAR Pinty’s series. Further to becoming a brand ambassador for Kappa Riding, Alex Labbé is thrilled to start his 2016 racing season.
